⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely incredible care from Ashley, NP I had one of the best medical experiences of my life with Ashley, the nurse practitioner at PCC Lake Street Family Health Center in Oak Park. From the moment we started, she took her time with me—real time. We went through my full medical history thoughtfully and thoroughly, and for the first time in a doctor’s office, I truly felt seen and heard as a whole person. Ashley is warm, attentive, intelligent, and deeply compassionate. She never rushed me, never dismissed a concern, and made me feel safe asking questions and sharing details about my health. That kind of care is rare, and it meant everything to me. I live about five minutes away and, honestly, I was a little hesitant before going—but Ashley completely changed my perspective. I am extraordinarily happy I found this practice, and I feel genuinely grateful to have her as part of my care team. If you’re looking for a provider who listens, cares, and treats you with respect and humanity, Ashley is truly exceptional. I cannot recommend her enough. Her last name begins with a B, I'll update it later 😅
Very bad… First they said that my insurance would cover the birth, and then they sent me a check that I had to pay. The attitude was not respectful, I do not recommend it.
While in the past I had good experiences here, I have waited over a month to get a form back for my child's medicine at school. I have stopped by and called several and each time I was told, "we will let the doctor know". The staff was unable to provide any further assistance.
Rosie was being very disrespectful and decided to click on me twice while I was trying to make an appointment. MAKING it VERY difficult for me because she decided to not want to do her job ! Unprofessional place.
They operate completely different from all the other PCC Wellness centers in the city. Appointment only at this location and all the others accept walk ins, but it doesn’t say that anywhere or on their website. Also the receptionist was really not helpful in guiding me to where I may have able to get help for my issue. Now I’m just sure all the reviews on here are fake. I understand covid might have some healthcare workers tired and on edge but don’t take it out on us.
