First time coming here after a long time due to a work injury and made it 8 mins before my appointment instead of the 15 minutes and the lady at the desk refused to register due to policy. Didn’t care to check who I was, why I was there, nothing. Today policy was chosen over a person. I was given the option to wait without guarantee to see if I could be seen but I can’t wait I have a family to tend to. Just felt like I didn’t matter. I understand policies are in place for a treason but at least look into the matter let the doctor decide or something idk
Absolutely unacceptable experience at the Streamwood location. I had a 4:15 PM appointment and was left waiting for 30 minutes with no explanation. After already waiting that long, I was then told it would be another 30–40 minutes before I could be seen. If you cannot manage your schedule, stop overbooking patients. People’s time matters. This is not the first issue. A few months ago, my pregnant wife had a scheduled appointment here. The clinic canceled her appointment without notifying us. No phone call, no message — nothing. We only found out after showing up. That level of irresponsibility, especially for a pregnancy visit, is beyond frustrating. This is by far the worst clinic experience I’ve had, even though it’s very close to my home. I ended up going to another branch of this same clinic, and that location was punctual, professional, and respectful. If you value your time and expect basic professionalism, do not waste your time at the Streamwood location.
I previously rated this drs office with high regard because they got me in right away for an appointment and accepted my insurance. But since then I have had to go to three different drs appointments and waited weeks to hear back with results of a biopsy they recommended I get. I went in on the 15th for my biopsy and had a scheduled appointment two weeks later to “go over the results” with the Dr who recommended the ultrasound and then biopsy. once I got to the appointment they did not have the documents required and said they would call me later on in the day. I had to call the hospital myself and get the paperwork sent over to the office and call Greater Family Health again for the results it is now been another 24 hours and I still have heard nothing back. It seems to me that they are uninterested in helping people get better and just make money from government funding by setting up appointments and charging your insurance. I do not recommend this office and do not think they are actually interested in your well being.
I highly DO NOT recommend going there. They refused to help my sick daughter just because I came 5 min BEFORE my appointment. When a client has to wait in the hall for a doctor for half an hour or more sometimes, they don't care, but if you are a patent you have to come much ahead before your appointment, even if there is no line and you can sign all the paperwork within 2 min, they will kick you out.... very unhumane attitude, they not only lose their money, but show no respect to their patents..shame...
I highly recommend this clinic! The staff is friendly and professional, making you feel at ease. The clinic is clean and modern, and the doctors are knowledgeable and compassionate. They take the time to listen and explain everything clearly. Top-notch care in a welcoming environment!
