Been coming here for years, received better OB service than Rush, got all of my appointments done and set , got all necessary testing and referrals to specialists for my care. Knox Is the best medical staff I’ve ever had , their MAs and phlebotomist are SWEET and phenomenal 🫶🏾
Friend Health used to be good some years back, but in the past year, seems it's changed for the worse (in my opinion and based on my experiences). The biggest thing for me has been that doctors suddenly move up or on (some of who you may have been seeing for years) with no notification to you as the patient and no plan for continuity of care put in place. You are basically just left hanging and to figure out a new plan of care for yourself at the last minute - this TERRIBLE customer/patient service and no one should be treated that way. More recently, after having an appointment, I had a nurse say that they would get back to me with some requested information, only to be strung-along and never contacted again after multiple attempts to follow-up through both emails and calls. This is people's health we're talking about - not some insignificant inquiry or request that doesn't warrant a response! There was a time that I would have recommended Friend Health, but with the path that they seem to be going down now, I wouldn't, in good conscience, be able to.
This has to be the Worst clinic in the city of Chicago. They never have a doctor available, the staff doesn’t answer or return calls. Medical records never coincide. I’ve been calling since Monday for a nurses visit for a vaccine. I’ve been on hold for 45 minutes for a nurse, then transferred to be disconnected. No attempt to call patients back at all. Someone really needs to look into this.
I have been going here for a very long time but this place has really changed and not for the better. You basically see whoever is there, not your primary care provider. The person you see has no idea of your history or how to treat your ailments. That information should be in your chart but they don't check. It appears that they replaced the physicians with low quality workers for lesser wages. Ask for an appointment with a physician. I'm not sure they even have any on staff anymore and good luck with getting an appointment at the clinic nearest you. The clerks are rude. Maybe if they had a better attitude they could get a job elsewhere. I won't be back. This place is about numbers and not quality patient care. It's also difficult to advocate for yourself because the staff doesn't want you to question anything about your care or service, just accept anything they say or tell you to do so if you are a thinking person who wants to actively participate in your care please look elsewhere. .
I been coming to this place over 12 years now. I’m not sure what happen but it’s crazy. First they change the number with out telling the patients. Now when you call you have to sit on the phone over 30 minutes just to ask a question or to make a appointment. I don’t even like coming here anymore. I use to love cottage grove office because I been there so long and I know almost every one there. Not now it’s all new people with bad attitude for no reason. You can’t even call and report it to a supervisor or manager cause there’s not one on site. Like you guys have to get it in order. I just hate calling these people. I’m on the phone right now trying to talk to someone. Been on the phone for 35 minutes still waiting. Yep it’s time to find a new doctor office.
