Dr Higginbotham is the best doctor I've ever had my own personal medical care this is important because I am a physician myself retired
It's not a very nice place or one where you feel comfortable! They have good doctors but the customer service is awful. Your medications never arrive and they don't schedule an appointment for you. No one answers the lines. It's very difficult to talk to someone unless you go to the place. I regret having changed to them.
I appreciate the in and out process here. This clinic has been a convenience to my family. They call and text to remind of appointments, which is very convenient for our schedule. The intake staff are professional and friendly and most of all tge doctors are very welcoming and eager to answer any questions about your care. I recommend clinic for family Healthcare.
This place is absolutely one of the worst places for you to receive any type of health care or attempt to access preventative care services. They give you referrals and no one ever calls to set up the appoint, and when you call to do it your told someone will reach out. They ask you to use their pharmacy but you have to actually go in and demand for your refill because they are definitely not answering the phone, and even when they do it is with an attitude. I hate hate hate this place, and this is where they send you for care if you have a medical card, and if you attempt to change providers, they make the process very difficult as an attempt to keep you in the cycle of unacceptable care. This place and all of their facilities should be shut down permanently, I've had too many problems as well as others with this company. And its sad I mean sad.
Doctor Hickombottom is the absolute best physician I have found in years. He takes the time to listen to you and his bedside manner is warm and inviting. The healthcare center itself is clean and was running efficiently the day I visited. The reason I gave this facility 4/5 stars is for two reasons. The first is that the patient portal accessed via their website has a message section to requests refills. I messaged twice using the system and no one ever messaged back which tells me that no one is monitoring the patient portal. That prompted me to call the facility and press the button that says medication refills which again no one answers and the VM box is not available to leave a message. I finally had to call and select the make or cancel appointments option and the lady took my information down and said the doctor would call me back. The doctor never called me back however I received a text from Walgreens stating that my prescription was ready for pickup. So the bottom line is that the lack of efficiency in communication is severely in need of an overhaul. That being said I will continue to be a patient of this facility because Dr Hickombottom practices there.
