It is no wonder that the mentally the challenge cannot get help in Illinois with places like this. It is such a sorry organization they do not even spend time with their patients enough to realize what problems they had and how to help them. I know this from one occasion of being here with my mother. And my second occasion of being here was with my brother he was accused minutes late and they would not even see him. Even though we drove an hour and a half to get him here. This place honestly should be closed for business it is a no use to the community.

Harassing my sister in attempt to get her to schedule follow up appointments. They are calling her incessantly, they somehow obtained my address and sent mail to my house, and now they’re sending her messages on Instagram under a burner account called “George Glass” trying to get her to schedule. This is totally unprofessional and I have never heard of a doctor’s office reaching out to a patient this way in all my life.

Chestnut is the best place to go for mental health for drug and rehab they do not hasitate to rush right in when there is problems and mental health they been helping her out with a therapist and a sycarist gave her her diabetic meds we had a great doctor but will retire in a year no complaints on them at all i a million suggest for whoever needs help martain Luther king drive will help you out

If I could give no stars I would. This place is a joke. It took me three visits and a total of 7 hours to get set up for a 6 month class I had to take here. Their staff told me they couldn't get me in although they were there in person. Told me to come back at the end of day when the place closed. Very unorganized! It is run and funded by the state of Illinois and really doesn't represent what it was originally built for. This place does not serve the citizens. From the blood splattered on the parking lot to it trailing into the building. To the narcan vending machine that requires a token to get a narcan. To the billing where their billing office can't figure out how much a client has paid. The front staff pretended to be your buddy. Instead they handed off receipts mixing up clients and some people got the other person's receipt. I heard some really disturbing things at this place. They generalize people without facts. The material taught is not even their own material but borrowed from other places. The place had a lot of fake message posters all over. One of the instructors left while I was there. I was told by their assessor in a phone assessment that I denied signs of why I was court ordered to go there. Instructor involved theirself with GAL in my case and took her side. I am still receiving letters in the mail from them. I feel bad for some of the people I met here. A lot of them were just sent there as an example of a broken system. Go elsewhere, this place is an institution.

This isn't a review about a random act of kindness by TARA and Evelyn who are the front line representatives for Chestnut Health Care Services. It's about living in your (GIFT FROM GOD) as representatives of The MESSAGE OF LIFE!!! YOU KNOW Great Customer Service when it's presented with concerned and an eagerness to help!!! With no judgement involved. That's what I experienced today and will be forever grateful for these 2 ladies who gave me HOPE that 2nd Chances aren't deserved their given freely like (GRACE AND MERCY!!;) Chestnut Health Services got originals in the house!!! Luv ya TARA AND EVELYN!!! and I probably will never see there faces BUT I felt their genuine concerned and eagerness to help and in the end that's all that matters!!!
