My parents went to see Basma Michael the Resource Navigator and she helped them tremendously. She is very kind and patient. She helped them go through insurance plans to find options that worked for my mom. Wish we could give more than 5 stars to her! Thank you Basma!
Was working with Amrit Singh, making progress, sort of, only at 3 sessions, then I was no longer responded to about an upcoming appointment. Abandoned a client… Highly unprofessional. Scheduling with the front is almost impossible, too, reasons I contacted my counselor directly. Left a voicemail in the morning, no return, appointment reminder calls came during work so I had to rely on after hours which can’t do anything for scheduling. They don’t have access to really anything to help you. Definitely think hard before coming here.
I have been going to this places for a good handful of months, I have terrible anxiety issues for most of my life and depression. From my previous psychiatrist, she had me on 6 medications and I was open to trying different suggestions of medication and coping skills. Imuentiyan Oyesikiu was my 'nurse practitioner: (not an actual psychiatrist which was my fault I should have went to one to begin with...) she was nice and friendly to begin with and I'm sure is a good person but I basically am now pushed off to someone else to deal with me after prescribing me 6 more medications on top of what I was taking. They don't want to help me anymore so she just pushes you off to 'their referrals' (which they never sent anyway) and then assumes I'm trying to just get my hands on one specific medication??Unbelievable!! The front desk girl called me yesterday telling me they sent the prescription. I drive 35 minutes to get to that pharmacy and they told me they don't have it. WOW. Its like pulling teeth with this person just to get medication that THEY prescribed. I have serious anxiety and depression and to be abandoned by someone who's supposed to help you with your mental health??...the worst mistake was going there to begin with. Thank goodness I found another location that actually has a real psychiatrist and therapist. Don't go to this place if you're really needing help with your mental health. Obviously it's just a job, they don't actually care about the people, just make stupid assumptions and push you off to someone else. What a joke. Unfortunately zero stars wasn't an option.
This was our first time coming to the clinic. Staff was very nice and we were received with a warm greeting. Our provider was Val, She’s amazing! Took her time, gentle with kids. Plus she is bilingual! And the medical assistant Crystal. Amazing on walking us through everything. My daughter is afraid of needles! Mind you she is 10! Big gal now, & we were in and out with getting blood drawn. I would definitely recommend to other parents.
I’ve been going to Hamdard Health in Addison for 3+ years to see Dr. Valerie Lelle. She makes a doctors visit very pleasant. She’s a great listener and I always feel my concerns are heard and my feelings are taken into consideration. You can tell she really cares and has a profound capacity for empathy. I truly feel taken care of. I particularly like that Valerie will go out of her way to research a topic and gather additional information to help with my care. The nurses, front desk reception, and support staff are all very nice and respectful. I have never had an issue.
