Y’all suck! Not only the customer service but everything SUCKS! Worst place ever ! My dad came for a walk in cause the staff said they have walk ins available, so I brought him in only to waste 3 1/2 hours in the damn room for nobody to come see him!!!! Mind you they close at 4:15 right so we were there in that damn room til they were closing. Staff walking pass the room not saying a word NOTHING! Walked out to check if anyone is coming to see him and nobody. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone !!!!
Horrible customer service for the walk ins. I'm a regular patient here at KKV they were still open when I had walked in. Front liners refuse to have someone see me when they weren't even closed for walk ins (1530) i had just walked in a few minutes before closing. Staff just wanting to knock off early and go home instead of getting the care for the sick patients who seeks medical attention here at KKV. Walk in front liners need to do better and care for there patients even if it's added to the wait list of the other patients who are being seen by the doctor which I seen no one in the waiting room (angie) or whatever her name was said there were four patients ahead of me. *Crikets.... So I had called and asked to see my doctor and I finally got the care that is needed for me. Thank you to doctor Chin and his assistant OKAY...you guys are great. Need more people like you in this medical field especially here at KKV where I grew up and hopefully where I can tend to still bring my family here.
Had multiple bad experience in this clinic. The doctors, such as Dr, Wittin, Dr. Velasco, and Dr, Truman were great, no problems with them. Would give them 5 stars and I hope they’re doing well wherever they are now. The staff here are terrible. Never answers the phone, made an appointment for a specific date, they called me reminding me of my appointment which was on a different day. I told them I am not able to make it on that day because that isn’t the day I made an appointment for and they said that its what they have on file. On another day, went to the 1st floor to check in and there was literally no one at the front desk and there were a lot of us waiting and our appointment was at 1 and it was 1:20, I had to call Kkv to let them know that no one is downstairs and everyone is waiting. Called multiple times to make an appointment for my son and they didn’t answer. I left a voicemail with my name, number and reason for calling, multiple times. Haven’t had a call back. Called 2/3 times a week for a month. Stopped trying after. WIC Called me for my monthly interview and they asked something with my kid and i told them that I am not able to get in touch with that department, they said they would call them and reach back to me. Nothing, Called awhile after, no one answered. Now onto the gynecologist section. My first pregnancy, I had Dr. Nishi, which is the head of that department. My appointment would be at like 9am and I would wait 1-2 hours till he sees me. So what is the point of my appointment time?? This happened to me multiple times. It is a constant thing, waiting for 1-2 hrs to see him. He was also very harsh at measuring my stomach with the measure tape. I would see the mark where he pushed down on my stomach with the tape. I did my usual pee in the beginning and at the end of my appointment I was walking back to my car which was very far and I was at 8 and a half months. Mid way of my car, they called me back to take another pee test because they forgot to take a test with the other one, I told them I didn’t have to pee anymore. Very frustrating with this clinic. Need to hire legit staff and not just anyone that applies. I seen an posting on indeed that they were looking for Medical Assistance, no certification required and no experience needed. When I seen that It is explained so much. If this is your only resort to medical then go for it, but if not please choose some place else. Such a Terrible place.
All the staffs here are wonderful and very helpful. I feel blessed that this clinic helps so many in the community through their many services & programs. It’s unfortunate that during this time with the covid the senior program has been discontinued, my elderly mom loves their senior exercise program❤️ Mahalo Kokua Kalihi Valley❤️
So far I've had good experiences. Dr Ruth Chong has been amazing in going above and beyond. She genuinely cares about your health and well being and won't rest until she figures out what's going on. Amazing doctor and person. Highly recommend.
