I really believe the staff at Palama do their best after you receive an appointment. The appointment is difficult task sometimes it could be daunting but the service makes up for it ! Mahalo nui loa 🌺
I recently visited this office with my daughter, who is on the autism spectrum, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the care we received. The doctor was professional, patient, and incredibly understanding. He took the time to make sure my daughter felt comfortable and safe, and he explained everything in a way that was easy for both of us to understand. It’s not always easy finding a provider who truly listens and connects, but we felt seen and supported. I’m so grateful we found him—highly recommend!
No one answers the phone or returns calls after leaving a voicemail. I tried multiple times in 3 weeks and finally someone picked up. Got an appointment scheduled, got there 10min before my appointment and was told they were gonna cancel one out of the two. Half the time the front desk staff is clueless with what to do. Line up wasn’t too bad but service was extremely slow because no one knows what they’re doing. Doctor I saw was great though but the process to get seen was painful.
I had an appointment (my second) and when they found out I had Kaiser quest said they don't take it and refused me service then after I told them to cancel the appointments and walked out they called me and wanted to work with me. When I get mad I will yell and cuss so I did asking them if they didn't take my medical then what are they going to do for me they didn't answer me instead hanging up on me. They should have said from the beginning that they don't take Kaiser quest so that I wouldn't have wasted my time with them.
I would always come here as a kid & it was good. Now days, The receptionist people don’t answer phones but when they do, they end it or send it straight to voicemail. That isn’t right to treat your patients who are in need of help. Also when you make an appointment and you’re on time , they let you know an hour late that they moved your appointment and you’re sitting there waiting and waiting & the people at the front desk doesn’t do anything to help. It be really nice if they actually cared about their job meaning care to help people but they don’t , only when it’s beneficial. It’s really sad. I tried talking to one of the ladies at the desk for a pen and she sees me waving but looks the other way and I had to repeat myself 3 times. Who does that ? Very disrespectful. This place has changed big time & that’s just really sad. Hope they can improve but if not, I wouldn’t recommend anymore. They keep continuing to do this for a year. The nurses are nice though but the front desk needs more of practice & respect for the people of Hawaii . Big time .
