I’ve been using this place for dental the past cpl yrs & loved it! The older gentleman who was doing my dental treatment had been doing a phenomenal job HOWEVER he retired in the middle of my treatment & was replaced by a young guy. Everything changed. I had to be seen for an emergency appt. Had an infection. Was told my tooth couldn’t be saved & had to be pulled. He started off with 4 shots which numbed every area but the tooth! He pulled the tooth which turned out to be a perfectly good tooth which meant I could no longer get partials. I cried. Was told to hurry & make a decision bc they were busy. Felt pressured to have the tooth pulled as if it was my only option. I was in so much pain. The girl who was once the assistant would always hold my hand to comfort me during a procedure. I reached for the other lady’s hand & she reacted as if I was a disease & was like “uh I can’t hold your hand” made me feel like I was disgusting.. Said i was better off getting dentures & just not to come back. I was never rude bc im always nice to everyone. After he pulled the tooth, I looked at it. There was no decay or anything. An antibiotic would have stopped the infection & a root canal but I’m assuming it wasn’t worth it to him. Was a nightmare! This was a wonderful place until the other dentist retired. I would NOT recommend going there! Now I’ve got to find a new dentist. Learned a hard lesson. Should have went with my gut.
J.C. Lewis Primary Health Care Mobile Unit are the best!!! You will never find people like Frank, Toni, Bethany, Jasmine, and Dupree who always going above and beyond for their patients. They truly listen, putting you and your medical needs first. I’m so grateful for them. Providing quality healthcare for all and much more.
Racist against Hispanic people. Front desk are so rude, female attendant had a very bad attitude, said I was late, and then called a gentleman which appeared to be like a manager, raised his voice at me which is very rude because I was right in front of him, and asked me which one of you speak english? This is not the first time they treat me like I am worthless. Avoid this racist institution! All people are to be treated equally. Should this institution stand and serve a community? From this point forward, I will never bring anyone here again.
I was a patient here for years recommended by my mother. Today was my last day as a patient on both dental and healthcare side. Most times you have to schedule in advance which is fine. I’ll have to wait months for my appointment, just to get calls a day or two before to reschedule to wait another month or so. (Janelle) Very unprofessional and willing to argue with you when you voice your concern or frustration about not squeezing you in when it’s in an inconvenience to the patient. It’s worth the price and energy to go somewhere more professional and efficient.
They will say walk-ins are welcome Monday - Thursday. We were here 30 minutes after opening and they said they reached their limit for the day. Also there were only five people in the waiting room. To add to this, if you are new and want to book an appointment, you have to show up in person to register and then they will schedule an appointment. This office is a joke and nobody communicates with one another here. I recommend changing up the staff and management here and stay up with new technology where people can register online and schedule over the phone.
