If I could give a 0 I would. The scheduling dept has the worst customer service EVER!!
These are worst place in Albany. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Especially that Glover’s dental on Gillionville road. The staff is very unprofessional and have terrible customer service. The office manager is.a joke. They lie about things they should have done for the patients. They gossip about patients business. They need training on confidentiality, Hippa, and patient privacy. They entertain their friends and put them first. Brennan is very rude. The whole office needs to be revamped. Starting from the front to the back. They help who they want too. If you make a complaint about them, we’ll just look to be treated like dirt. I don’t think they know without, patients no job. They should be rotated to other departments from time to time to learn what it is to be professional. The world doesn’t owe them anything. Treat everyone the same and stop gossiping and do your job. The CEO, needs to get a hold on things. There’s no supervision and this could lead to someone reporting them to the medical association. Talking about a patient personal affairs could prove to become a serious issue. Let them know it’s not a place for entertainment and flirting. It’s a professional office. OR it supposed to be.
I am unsure why the staff at EAMC are rude and unkind. I imagine it is poor management. I have been a patient there 3 times and left after dealing with the people there became impossible. This last time when I first started back the people seemed friendly and kind. They have slipped back to the reason I left 2 times before. This time I am sick and need a good doctor. I left before without saying anything. I just found another doctor. I had labs done in March and I didn't receive a call until August telling me there was a problem. Routine labs are not done. I feel left in the dark and I've had to do my own research to find out some of the issues I'm having. I was referred to phoebe for radiology exams and weren't informed they were ordered. When I asked why the doctor just cancelled the labs. The doctor insinuated my issues were my fault (mental) and it turned out to be caused by actual health problems. I will be filing a complaint. I know the are subsidized and I hope they will be proactive and change their practices. I Messaged them and received two calls from staff that just wanted to argue with me. One of my issues is high blood pressure. I need support, not more stress. If you can get into another practice dont start with these people. I dont have a lot of money so I was hoping for better care than this.
I was referred to this clinic from my Primary Dr. for foot surgery. This Dr. Okonkwa was very rude to me and my husband after making me wait 2 hrs past my appointment time. She came in the room barely looked at my foot then asked if I smoked cigarettes and I said yes. She then informs me she will not be doing my surgery or surgery on anyone that smokes and told me that I could see myself out. Her whole time was spent talking about cigarettes and how they are unhealthy instead of my foot. Then as I'm leaving I hear her breaking patient confidentiality by automatically talking about me to other ppl after telling me to see my way out. My husband asked a question and she ignored him and asked him who was the patient me or him in a snappy tone. I am definitely reporting her to the board of medicine and will never refer this clinic to anyone.
My wife is a patient of Miriam Worthy and is currently 7 months pregnant. These people have rescheduled her appointments 3 times and never called. We had to find out when we got there which was a waste of time. The desk staff are very rude and show no care for the patients. The facilities manager is very rude and needs to learn some manners before someone knocks it into him. He was rude with me and to the driver that collects hazardous materials for the building. Next time I won’t just walk away. There is very little care shown by this whole establishment. If it doesn’t get corrected, the Better Business Bureau will be notified soon.
