I enjoy going here and I’ve never liked going to doctors offices. Everyone I’ve encountered here from the front desk, the nurses, the assistants, and the doctors have always been very warm, friendly and helpful. Theresa is the best practitioner I’ve ever been to and really happy to have found her here!
I went there not feeling well my regular Doctor never seemed interested in helping me Made me feel like I needed to be scolded all the time I went there Staff was extra friendly Willing to help anyway they can and they did. Offered counseling or treatment to help you get well They went way beyond what you'd expect from urgent care
Had a doctor lie to me about several things. You would think doctors and medical staff would be trustworthy but think again. Regarding: Prescriptions for my mobility condition Even went as far as having a prescription sent over and then having the staff say they never received it That’s because the doctor lied about sending it over Lied about an appointment and provider Disability discrimination 0/10 do not recommend this facility. They are connected and affiliated with Parrish Medical Center which is a HORRIBLE hospital
My son has been under SCHC care for a little over a year and we are thankful that he feel comfortable and safe with his provider. The front office personnel is always professional, caring and attentive. He is always asking when he gets to go for his next appointment. As a patient, I trust them with my care. I was looking for answers to a series of symptoms and my provider, nurse practitioner Pillado was the person to address them and guide me to the right specialist.
I do appreciate the attitudes of ALL of the staff with whom I have interfaced, and they deserve 5 stars ! I have to say that communications (which deserves no more than ONE STAR for SCHC ) are EXTREMELY difficult when not in the facility itself. Some issues have persisted since I became a patient about 3 years ago. I have found sending a message through the portal usually results in NO response. It is getting harder to reach a person by phone. Calls almost ROUTINELY get routed to an answering machine, and I cannot recall EVER receiving a return call OR having a requested action being taken after I leave a message ! If I really want something accomplished I have found I need to drive in and speak to a receptionist to get important questions answered, especially since my recorded questions or issues NEVER get answered unless I have an appointment. I sense that the staff is really NOT fully aware of the gravity of this situation. Unless the communications issue is resolved I feel I have no choice but to find another provider organization that BELIEVES in the value of good two way communications ! This review certainly does NOT reflect upon the extremely high quality of the medical care that I have received, or of the caring attention of the staff themselves. It DOES stress the GREAT importance of GOOD communications for patients who otherwise become very FRUSTRATED and write this kind of review !! ADDED: the response by the owner of SCHC would not display in full, so I could not read it all, but it made me sound like someone who looks for attention frequently. I have submitted 20 portal messages in the last 9 months (4 of them in the last 30 days) , with only a couple of earlier ones showing a response. While SOME of the messages were information for my provider, SOME were important QUESTIONS I had, AND ONE of the last 4 expressed my EXTREME frustration about the lack of responses (to which message there was NO RESPONSE .......).
