I have had high anxiety about going to the dentist for many years. Due to this I have not went regularly. Every time I go here, my anxiety lessens a bit more. Don't get me wrong, walking into this place it looks like a small DMV. The availability for the initial appointment is ROUGH. My initial appointment was scheduled 9 months out, but I called to get in on a cancellation, and all subsequent appointments have been extremely timely. Since I wasn't getting cleanings, I needed a good amount of work done. The dentist that did my exam, Dr. Hatchett (sp?), was thorough and patient through all of my numerous questions. Then it was time for the cleanings, and the hygenist Kerri was astounding. Each time I go in for a cleaning with her, she is fast, efficient, thorough and kind. Even the appointment for an extraction I had to have with Dr. Clausson (sp?) went very well. Also a big fan of Jennifer who works reception. I understand no one likes going to the dentist. As someone too afraid to go for many years, I have been pleasantly surprised by my experience at Pancare.
It isn't great but I'm thankful to have somewhere that is sliding fee scale. Today Keri W. did my cleaning and it was an amazing time! I wish I could see her for all of my dental health care needs! If there was a way to leave her a tip I would! Please higher more people like Keri W.
I completely don't understand how this business can function properly. Every appointment that was made over the last year I scheduled around my work showed up to my appointments on time and every single one of them was canceled on me before I even got there. So I have to make sure that I call a week ahead of time and keep calling until someone answers the phone. Don't leave a message. And my appointment was still cancelled because the dental hygienist just quit. Again... So are they not treating the doctors fair for them to not show up for work or quit all the time...what is going on?
I had an exceptional experience with Keri, the hygienist at Pan Care Dental Clinic in Panama City, FL. She truly takes a great deal of pride in her work, and it shows in everything she does. Keri is extremely thorough and never rushes through the appointment. She takes her time to make sure every detail is addressed, while still being very gentle and attentive. What really sets her apart is how pleasant and genuinely kind she is — she makes you feel comfortable from the moment you sit in the chair. It’s rare to find someone who combines such professionalism with such a warm and friendly personality. PanCare is lucky to have Keri, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for top-quality dental care!
HIGHLY DON’T RECOMMEND! I had an appointment because of a broken tooth that was causing pain. The doctor did X-RAYS and still poked at my teeth even when I mentioned to him I was having unbearable pain. They told me that I need to have an extraction. I scheduled the appointment for the extraction and I was already very nervous and the atmosphere of the office didn’t make it any better. I felt pain during my entire extraction, I definitely was not numbed enough. The doctor told me the pain was normal and would go away. I’ve had extractions before and never one that felt that bad. After follow up appointments the doctor recommended that I “eat better” and “brush my teeth three times a day everyday for the rest of my life” if I don’t want the rest of my teeth to end up like that one. He also let me know that most people are too sensitive and are “afraid to hear the truth” completely unacceptable and a nasty environment. I’ve never had any preventative care or cleanings because they never have availability. I’m so happy I have better insurance and don’t have to use this office anymore!
