We had some very hard times years ago and they provided excellent care for my husband's needs. I am back in the area and times are difficult again, so we may end up back there. They are worth there weight in gold.
The doctor prescribed me iron pills and some atopic ointment for my hives. I went to the pharmacist and she gave me three medications on which I asked her a question and she got an attitude with me. So I told them that I was supposed to get a cream for my hives. They looked dumbfounded like they don't bothered to asked the doctor. The head pharmacist told me to sit down so she will call me but i saw other people with their pager for whenever they call the patient to them. I went up there after a good five minutes of wait then they have my medication and i asked questions about my medication again. They have no patience when to comes to answering my questions about the medication. The head pharmacist said that it should help with my inflammation but found out when i get home and saw it has hints of steroids and ginger helps with the inflammation and my iron count. I called on Monday April 9 if I am able to return the items and the lady over the phone said yes. I returned on Wednesday today because Tuesday was pouring rain. So I went ahead returning my items and the lady at the pharmacist said we can't take them back and i told her that someone told me I can. She asked if I remember the person's namethat i called on Monday and I told her no. So this other nurse say what is your date of birth to look me up and keep looking at at the computer screen not letting me know that "yeah I agree with her not to return that medication" instead she let me wait on which in turn let the other people waiting for their medication and I was really frustrated about their negligence. They should be prompt about their profession. I shouldn't come here any ways since most of the staff nurses are unprofessional and upset because it's Friday and they stuck working at that place. Other patients should go elsewhere if they want to be properly look after and not by some grown childish individuals nurses.
This is an organization that provides healthcare, dental care, psychological support, and specialist referrals. I myself have been a client since 2010. The organization can also assist in permanent housing referrals. They have an offshoot called the hope team they literally come to a designated campsites and transport those who can't get to one of the HCCH facilities and will also make sure your meds are up to date. Many times when I'm there I hear the same old complaint but no need for complaining this is as close as it gets to free medical care period.
My mother go here the staff are very friendly and the service is very excellent no long waits for medications
