IF YOU’RE PREGNANT, PLEASE READ🚨 My experience with this hospital was extremely disappointing. For five months, I was under the care of a ''gynecologist'' (JAMIE JAMES) who failed to follow proper prenatal care protocols. At every appointment, she only checked my baby’s heartbeat with a Doppler, asked if I was bleeding or in pain, and then told me everything was fine—without any explanations, exams, education, or detailed monitoring. When I was finally referred by her (by mistake) to a place where they didn’t do any of these procedures, I got so upset that I ended up changing her to a truly professional center and when I got there,the situation was considered urgent. I was sent immediately to Memorial Hospital through the emergency department to rule out amniotic fluid leakage, as my fluid levels were dangerously low—something I was never informed about before. Additionally, it was discovered that my baby has a single umbilical artery instead of two, a condition that requires much closer monitoring. If it had been up to this doctor, I would have never known about any of this. Thankfully, I arrived in time with professionals who took my case seriously, and I am now following all necessary protocols to ensure my baby’s well-being. IT’S EXTREMELY SAD THAT ALL THIS HAPPENED AFTER 5 MONTHS PREGNANT However, if I had continued under this doctor’s care, I truly don’t know what could have happened. I strongly recommend that this hospital reviews its prenatal care standards and physician oversight, as this experience caused unnecessary risk and distress for my baby and me.

Highly Recommend – Exceptional Care Without Insurance! I had an absolutely amazing experience at Broward Community and Family Health Center in Hollywood, Florida. From the very first phone call to the moment I walked out, I felt welcomed, respected, and truly cared for. Marsha was wonderful when scheduling my appointment she was friendly, professional, and made the process so easy. When I arrived, Vanessa at Registration greeted me with a warm smile, and Kizzy was so kind while taking my personal pressure and weight. Each of them made me feel comfortable and valued. Crystal was personable and funny. My Nurse Practitioner, Jaimie James Sylvain, was phenomenal. She explained everything she was going to do before starting my Pap smear, which really helped ease my nerves. She was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and personable answering questions before I even had to ask them. She also went above and beyond by scheduling my mammogram and pre-colonoscopy test during the same visit. The facility itself was clean, organized, and welcoming, and the wait time was unbelievably short I was in and out in under an hour, which is almost unheard of! What meant the most to me is that I do not have insurance, yet I was still treated with dignity, compassion, and outstanding care. They truly made me feel welcome and supported. I highly recommend Broward Community and Family Health Center to anyone in need of quality healthcare. This team is doing God’s work, and I am so grateful for the care I received

Absolutely horrible service… I tried calling today to schedule an appointment for next week Monday to ONLY get some labs done. I did not want to see a provider and AFTER I scheduled my appointment with what seemed to be a slow individual I got a call back saying I needed to see a provider in order to get labs done. Not only did I spend my entire morning on a series of 5 different calls with different individuals finding out what is needed from me which could have been said on the very FIRST call, I had to sit through the lack of communication and end up canceling my appointment. In the end when I said I wanted to cancel the lady over the phone on the other end didn’t even try to excuse their behavior and IMMEDIATELY hung up the phone while I was mid sentence. Overall this entire clinic is a joke and this is coming from someone who is also in the medical field. YOU DO NOT TREAT YOUR PATIENTS THIS WAY. Especially new patients who are looking to get the simplest thing done. -10000000000000/10

Very unpleasant experience visiting this site. I made an appointment online a week in advance. At my arrival, the lady at the front desk told me that besides this appointment, I needed to make an additional one. The first one is for establishing care and the second one to see the doctor. Seriously? That's ridiculous. Second appointment: my appointment was scheduled at 10:45 am and I arrived at 10:00. I was called in at 11:30am. At 11:45 a.m., the medical assistant took the EKG. I finally saw the doctor at noon (two hours after my arrival). She didn't even introduce herself, but I found out her last name was Barros or Ramos. Let's consider I NEEDED TO FAST for some blood work. I was sitting in the room for ao lomg that I dediced to stand up by the room door to bring the attention. The doctor passed by, and I asked again WHY THEY HAVEN'T TAKEN THE BLOOD SAMPLE YET. They could have done it earlier and nodoby considered the fact I WAS STILL FASTING. They finally took the blood sample at 12:45 pm. It was outrageous! I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS SITE AT ALL. Terrible customer service and the level of care is very poor.
