Waste of time. Very unprofessional. Whole office of button pushers and no one is informed. Called ahead of time to make sure Banyan was open, properly staffed and accepting patients. We asked all the right questions as we’ve been through this atrocious health care system in Miami before and the receptionist on phone said yes to all of our questions to make us feel confident that coming in would be worth our time and we would be able to see a trained professional to get the proper help needed. Drove 30 minutes to show up to Banyan Health at 3850 W Flagler St, Miami, FL 33134 just to find out what the receptionist was saying on the phone and what was actually taking place at Banyan Health regarding being properly staffed at the moment and having space for more patients where two completely different realities. The people answering the phones are out of touch to what is actually taking place in the office and the people who are working in the office are not well informed and don’t appear to know what they’re doing. As for the trained health professionals I wouldn’t be to say if they know what their doing or not because I was denied access in seeing a professional. After arriving at Banyan we were denied access to seeing a trained health professional when we already had called on the phone before coming in and the receptionist said there was space available and to come in? Two completely different stories and between the people working in the offices, the people on the phone, and the trained health professionals no one is on the same page with their communication. So drove 30 mins in just to get denied and have to drive another 30 mins back when we already had called in trying to prevent this scenario. Thanks but no thanks Banyan for being reliable and offering the services you claim to provide. Get it together Banyan.
Please, ask around. This place does not care about you. They will tell you anything on the phone. They are only knowledgable on heroin detox, I went in for xanax and I almost died in their hands.
Absolutely the worst place ever I was struggling with a horrible addiction to fentanyl and I begged and begged for help and to get put on suboxone it took a month and a half to even get an appointment with my psychiatrist dr abreu and all she did was tell me that I should go to the clinic in flagler and I told her that no that I don’t mind driving to her location because I need this right away and she said she would call the other clinic in Flagler and that they would call me and she hung up and I never got a call back from the Flagler clinic so I had to call myself and every time I would call they would just put me on hold for hours and then just hang up and after a week of calling I finally got someone on the phone and told them what my first psychiatrist did and that I need help right away because I don’t want to die from an overdose and all she said was that her soonest appointment was a month away and after a month of waiting and using and going thru hell all that the doctor I spoke with said is that I would have to speak to another doctor and that the soonest appointment was a month away so I went to another clinic called Golden Glades Treatment Center and they helped me same day please do yourself the favor and never become a patient with this place they are absolutely useless and don’t care about their patients all they are is a business tryna make money not a clinic trying to help people
