Don’t miss an appointment. You will not be able to reschedule unless you go to the office. They NEVER answer the phone! Ridiculous, I’m setting up dental services with another dentist.
AT THE BRANDON LOCATION 313 Lakwood Ave Brandon,Fl 33511. The front desk reception her name is Cruz she is the reception for the adult patients. She is the most disrespectful non helpful person in a medical facility I have ever met. I have been here for year and everytime I come in this place she is just so miserable and treats every person she comes in contact with like straight crap. I truly feel bad for the employees that have to work around her.
Doctors are great, but nurses not so much. I got blood work done on December 20. I found out my results online and knew something was wrong. I called multiple times to talk to the nurse so they could explain the results, but there was no answer. I left a message, but nothing happened. I tried to make a doctor's appointment online, but the app didn't work. He told me the nurse was going to call me. I found out online that I needed more exams. Eight days later, the nurse called, and I asked why it took so long. She basically didn't know what to say. She called after I had already scheduled my other labs and ultrasound, which I found out online on my account. So disappointed, and it's not for free; they get paid for it...
They took me as walk-in and prescribed my meds and gave me referral to specialist. I was struggling with finding primary care due to long wait times and cancellations, but they jumped-in on a walk-in basis and made sure I didn't have to pay anything as I was in-network (that's how I found them). Everyone was very nice, patient and professional along the way. Even while I was struggling to assign them as PCP in the app and over the phone, they waited patiently.
I recently visited this community medical center for routine bloodwork and had a mixed experience. The receptionist was wonderful—friendly, welcoming, and very professional, which made check-in smooth and pleasant. Unfortunately, the experience once I was brought to the clinical area did not feel as positive. The floor nursing staff seemed less communicative and less approachable than expected. Information was not offered unless I specifically asked, and overall the interaction felt somewhat unfriendly and impersonal. I also felt the process was unclear—I was not informed about which doctors practiced there, nor was I given the option to choose a specific provider. I was only asked whether I preferred a male or female provider. Later, a nurse asked me, “Did you switch doctors?” which was confusing, as I had never selected or changed a physician. When I asked for clarification, I was told again that only gender preference had been noted. This lack of clarity made the visit feel disorganized. There were also communication challenges, as it was sometimes difficult to clearly understand staff with their language barriers, which led to repeated explanations and moments of confusion. While the bloodwork itself was completed, the overall experience left me feeling less supported than I would expect in a healthcare setting. I hope improvements can be made in communication, clarity, and bedside manner, as the front-desk experience showed that positive patient interaction is possible here.
