I want to take a moment to update my previous review with honesty and fairness. In the past, I left a negative review due to a situation that I later realized was outside of Dr. Spencer’s control. He personally took the time to apologize and address the situation, which already spoke volumes about his professionalism and character. More recently, I have been dealing with ongoing health issues, and I can confidently say that the level of care I’ve received has been truly above and beyond. Dr. Spencer has been attentive, compassionate, patient, and genuinely invested in my well-being. He listens carefully, explains things thoroughly, follows up, and makes sure his patients feel supported—something that is unfortunately rare these days. I also want to recognize the staff at Generation Family Care for their kindness, professionalism, and respectful treatment at every visit. I am very grateful for the care I’ve received and highly recommend Dr. Spencer without hesitation. He is a physician who truly cares about his patients and makes a real difference.
ZERO ACCESS TO CARE!!! Used to be good but went downhill since June (at least for pediatrics). As for adult care, I've been trying to get an appointment since June 2025 (my dad had stage 4 colon cancer) and I just want to get the referrals to be screened. Everytime the appointment approaches, they call and push it out a few months, moved to April 2026, almost a year...just to do preventive care before something comes up. I will probably have stage 5 cancer by the time I actually get seen here! Awful, I can see pushing off an appointment once but over and over for almost a year?! There should be laws against that. No patient care here, your just a number not a human.
Would never recommend this place, at this point I need to file an official grievance regarding treatment I was given at this establishment. I asked to speak to a supervisor for the past 3 days and have been avoided since their provider was unprofessional ALONG with almost causing a death of a patient by giving them inappropriate medication which caused them to be currently incubated. Stemming from this it seems this location of generations seem to do no research on their patients or care of their reputation. Along with that I was prescribed medication that didn’t work and was refused to be worked with to the point I had to go to a hospital about it where they actually gave me the medication that was said to be inappropriate. not that I am surprised with the professionalism of this place I am yet to hear back regarding this horrible situation. Rachell Farnham Shouldn’t be an employee and would probably do better where you can actually be disrespectful and inappropriate instead of a medication location.
I have good medical insurance and dont have to go to Generations but I do and have for 30 years. The service and care have been exceptional. I have only had positive experiences with them from the front door staff to the doctor and bloodwook too, everyone is good
I have been a patient of the dental department of Generations for at least two years now, and except for the dentist, hygienist, and one staff member, the front staff have been consistently and extremely unpleasant and rude. But this week was the worst yet: I received a bill last week for over $300 for a prior appointment, so I called the office to rectify the situation. This particular staff person I spoke with for the first time was wonderful (I think her name was Michelle), who explained to me that Generations had accidentally stated that I was earning $12,000 a month, when in fact I earn a little over that per year (I receive a discount due to not having dental insurance). She apologized and suggested that I go in and talk to the manager, along with bringing proof of my social security benefits from last year and this year. She also mentioned that I was not the first patient to have experienced this situation. The following day, I went to Generations with my forms, and I had to stand in line for 25 minutes. There was a gentleman that the staff member was attending to, and whatever was occurring took up a bit of her time, which I didn’t blame her for. But what bothered me the most was that it took her at least 10 minutes to tell me she’d be with me shortly, and then after another 15 minutes to get to the window, she never apologized. Even if the situation weren’t her fault with the prior patient, you would at least hope for an apology. Additionally, she showed no personality when I kindly explained the situation to her. She then went to the manager to see how to handle the billing situation, only to be told that they’d send the information to the director, and hopefully they could rectify the charge. Rectify it? It wasn’t my error, and I should hope they would! It was not the first time I had to stand in line for a long time. One particular time, it was just me in line, and the staff member didn’t even acknowledge me for at least five minutes or more. And when she finally did, she had absolutely no personality. It is shameful because the front desk plays a huge role in the entire atmosphere. Not to mention that there should be at least more than one staff member behind the window to take care of patients so they don’t have to stand in line that long. Fortunately, I am healthy, but what about those with mobility issues who can’t stand for that long? If I had dental insurance, I wouldn’t hesitate to go elsewhere. However, unfortunately, I am stuck there. ☹
