Very disappointing. At least the phlebotomy experience was decent. I never felt the needle. She used the butterfly needle which is my preferred way of having blood drawn. But I shouldn't have had to go find someone to do it. I was left waiting in the room a long time. The staff was courteous, just not real efficient at some things. For instance, a urine test should've been done but was never done. I remembered as I was leaving. I went back in to inquire about it but was told I'd have to wait again for a while in the lobby. I chose not to. I was already there for a long time. The receptionist had tried to contact the assistant but no response. So I finally left.
I've been a patient there for a few years. I've always been seen within a few minutes of my appointment if not earlier then my scheduled appointment. I like my doctor there.
I came in for a physical and blood work done on 9/10/24 and have not received any information about the results. I have called in twice and the reception people have apologized. That is nice, doesn't provide any answers though. The Dr. also recommended a colonoscopy and said he would submit a request to have that scheduled and that I should receive a call within a couple of days. While I am not looking forward to the procedure! It has been over three weeks. It seems to be a sad state of affairs at this office.
I have always been taken care of with the utmost respect and courtesy. The Drs and their team are truly great I would never want to go anywhere else for my care. It is hard for me to go to a Dr and the very first time I went there I was totally comfortable and my worries were gone. I have been with the mfhc for many years. It's sad to see someone be so negative. It's not a real thing Sometimes you get what you give.
Generally rude on the phone, eventually set a appointment for me, which I waited for three weeks for then got a call a few days before saying the doctor was "only doing telephone calls that day". They basically act as if they are doing you a big favor if they manage to fit you in, then don't bother to keep their own appointments.
