If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The office is extremely unprofessional. The receptionists are rude and consistently unhelpful. My appointments have been canceled multiple times on the morning of the visit, and no effort was made to reschedule or offer an alternative. When I expressed frustration, the receptionist became even more rude, as if doing their job was an inconvenience. One time, I arrived for my appointment and was placed in a room. I waited well over hour then I went to the front desk to explain the situation, there was no apology and no offer even to reschedule. I will say that Dr. O’Leary is wonderful and an excellent doctor. She deserves to work in a far more professional and respectful environment, because this office does not reflect the quality of care she provides.

I established as a patient with Dr Anne Cardwell and was thoroughly impressed with her knowledge, communication, and bedside manner. She was friendly, took the time to listen to all of my concerns, and provided a clear explanation for her recommendations. Very happy with the quality of care she provides.

I left this clinic because last year I had a knee injury and it took 4 months and 8 Dr’s to finally refer me for surgery. They didn’t offer a med plan to treat my pain, even though I specified I was seeking over the counter (OTC) treatment they all lectured me about trying to get opioids. None of them came with a suggestion to use ibuprofen a certain way or anything. It took 11 years for my PCP to refer me for gastric issues and fibromyalgia. I was careful to tell them the details in I don’t know how many visits over the years about my issues. Nobody noticed. After the issue with my leg, I decided to subject myself to the tedious process of finding a new PCP, because I was over my treatment plan being neglected. I would never have taken the time to detail their decisions if I’d ever heard from the clinic manager when I reached out to her. When I was an MA at a health clinic, I know our manager would make sure to do everything to resolve their issue. Addition : my new PCP asked me if Bruner had told me about the 4 blood pressure results around 180/98. They never did, and I explained to Dr Applegate what a hellish experience I had, he said I probably have a condition where unfamiliar medical environments represent a threat. The next appointment I had with Dr A I had my normal, low blood pressure back. Update: thanks to Bruner Clinic staff, my new PCP diagnosed me with White Coat Syndrome. I had such a terrible experience before I left Bruner I have so much anxiety in unfamiliar or otherwise fearful medical settings I get significantly raises pulse and blood pressure from the severe anxiety I feel then. He asked if they had mentioned how high my bp was the last 4x I went there. They hadn’t said anything, but Dr Applegate honestly reviewed my clinical information and saw it immediately, we talked about it, and he told me about WCS. Thanks, Bruner! PS they just got back to me here on Google, asking I call the clinic manager. I tried that. Either I was given incorrect information or the clinic manager ignored me- just like their medical staff.

I’ve truly never experienced healthcare like this. The doctor/PA I saw, rushed in and out of the appointment without answering any of my questions. I also received an almost $800 bill initially from my physical appointment, and called to ask why my insurance, which they and my insurance company said was in network, didn’t cover anything. The woman I spoke with told me it was because I didnt see my PCP, but I came to this office to establish with primary care and haven’t seen anyone under this policy. They said this was a mistake on their end and they would refile the claim, and I received another bill today for almost $700 with still no insurance coverage AND claiming my bill was past due. This is the reason no one wants to see primary care or use their insurance, now this will be weeks of back and forth trying to fight for coverage. Do not go here.

I am not sure who if anyone else have received a letter from them saying that before an appointment you had to pay $100 upfront, but I know my father in law has, and that it would be a thing that they would do from now on. My husband also goes here and they never give him the options to do a payment plan for his hospital bills and always demand he pays a HUGE amount. He even wanted to see if his doctor can order him a refill for his diabetes medicine and they told him he needed to pay $500 before they scheduled him an appointment to see his doctor about the refills. And would not go lower. My husband already has issues with his health, and he needs it!
