Helen from billing helped me with getting the info I needed. She went through several years of info quickly and thoroughly. She was kind and thoughtful and brought a smile to my face. These are the type of people businesses need. Thank you Helen.
What is the point of having an express care open till 7 when you are goimg to turn people away at 615! And what options are there when you need to see your doctor because you are ill and they are unable to get you in for at least 3-5 days! I called every hour to see if there were cancellations, nope. So i went to the express care at 2 locations and was turned away. I am trying to go through the correct avenues and am being forced to go sit at the ER where they will look at me as if i am wrong for seeking medical attention that should be handled through my doctor office! And i dont blame them because its true!
Need to improve many thing: This Corporate seems like it has no one in charge. Every office or every visit to my doctor I have seen/ experience really bad experiences; either by the first person that everyone see when they visit their doctors; the front desk. Moreover, if I have a problem or a complain and call to speak to someone, I either stay on hold at least 15 minutes or it took me straight to the voicemail directly to leave a message. Then, as after leaving a message, finally someone might or might not call in in a few days. Who's responsible for all this? The answer is The top of this Corporate. Shame on you and shame on the way you run this place.
How can a provider of healthcare pattern themselves after the airlines practice of "over booking?" I arrived @ my 11:15 appt @ 11:07 and sat and sat until I left @ 1:45. There didn't appear to be that many patients but still no Dr appeared. This is unacceptable especially in a 1 horse town w/3500 people. My time is valuable and you have no right run people around by over booking without the right amount of Dr's and staff. An F is your grade and diffently needs improvement . 07
Is there anything less than zero? I have been going to their facility in Chico for several years now. Every time I have been seen (for routine appointments to get my medication refilled or for medical reasons) I have seen a different doctor. I'm talking at least 5 times now. I never see the same person twice. The doctors just don't stay there. I have waited more than 90 minutes to be seen and heard other patients complaining to the receptionist about how long it was taking. I never complained. The last time I went I had to pay out of pocket and the receptionist told me it was $100. I paid and went to see the doctor. At the end of the appointment I asked the doctor specifically "Do I owe you anything else?" She said "Not for me but check with the receptionist when you leave." I did check with the receptionist and I was told I was good to go. A month later I started receiving bills from Ampla. They wanted another $50 or so. It took me forever (and many, many phone calls) to get this settled. It came time for my pills to be refilled, I called and made an appointment. The receptionist told me "I see that you haven't "established" yourself with a specific doctor". Well, I would love to if any of them stayed around. So, I go in for my appointment today. My husband was there with me to pay cash for the appointment. They handed us a huge pile of their yearly paperwork for me to fill out and then told me that they would collect $76 up front and then if there was any extra owed they would bill me. OH HECK NO! Not again. I tried to explain to the receptionist that we run a business and my husband was paying and not staying for the appointment so he could get back to work. I tried to explain to her that I had already dealt with this once and I didn't think it was right that they can bill you whatever they want when you walk out the door. You have no idea what you're going to be billed. She said that I could talk to her supervisor. So we did (Amalya). Amalya was the rudest person I have ever dealt with (and we are in the automotive business and deal with customers with personalities of every kind), she refused to listen to what happened to me before, shouted at me and interrupted me. I had to raise my voice to try to be heard over her and she just got louder and told me not to yell at her. I have never been so rudely interrupted and talked to by a professional before. My husband was asking her to just let me talk and explain what happened last time and she talked over him. I was so flustered and upset that I cancelled the appointment and walked out. There were several people in the waiting room and I got some smiles and nods as I passed by. I cant believe she acted that way in front of other patients, So unprofessional. I will definitely NOT be going back there and I WILL be filing a complaint with her direct supervisor and the medical board.
