I’m very disappointed with the lack of flexibility and empathy I experienced with billing at this clinic. My child received a routine preventive visit and standard childhood vaccinations, and after insurance denied the claim I was left with a bill of over $1,100. When I contacted the clinic to ask if the charges could be reviewed or if there were any self-pay or adjustment options, I was told there were none and that the only option was a payment plan. I was also told that financial assistance is mainly available for patients who qualify for Medi-Cal or very low-income programs. Families who fall into the middle-income range can still face significant financial strain from unexpected medical bills, and it was disappointing that there were no additional options or willingness to review the charges. I hope the clinic considers offering more comprehensive sliding-scale options or self-pay rates so that families who do not qualify for Medi-Cal still have support.

I've been going here for over 20 years. My doctor is Justin Ebert. I love him very much. He has helped me so much over the years that I really will not go to anybody else and when he was cutting back on patients and I thought I wasn't going to be his patient no more. I cried my eyes out but luckily I got to keep him as my doctor. I cannot say enough positive stuff about him. He's a wonderful man and he does really good. I'm so truly blessed that he's been in my life to help me with my medical needs. I really would not see anybody else!!!

They were kind and respectful in their way of showing me and explaining to me the damage that has happened to my teeth. They didn't make me feel embarrassed about letting things get to the point that things were. I appreciate Dr Mucho and his staff for making this experience a positive one ,and in doing so it's helped me to be able to take the next step to get things taken care of.
