I brought my son here today because he was coughing really bad and having chest pain while coughing but the three staff named Karen, Maryann and Letty did not accept my son because he didn’t have an appointment with them. I asked if they can give him just at least 5 mins for the doctor to see him and they said no because they dont accept walk ins every friday. I asked them too if they can just check if he has covid and they said no. I begged them to just give me a covid test pack so I can just do it by myself and still they said no. It was a heartless experience with these people. I was so mad. I used to bring my son here on emergencies before and they would accept him but these three ladies today weren’t people who have no empathy on a child who is in need for medical attention really bad. I ended up looking for another urgent care and found out my son has pneumonia. These three people in this clinic don’t care about their clients. They are the worst people I have encountered in the healthcare. So sad that they work in a place like that. I have always loved my son’s doctor (Dr Lim) but now I went to another clinic because of that. Hope they will do something in how to manage their workers in this clinic.
Don’t go around this physician group. The worse clinic I ever seen. They don’t have any protocol. People playing load Latin music inside the clinic. Receptions are so rude. In one word they are unprofessional and low level.
I want to commend Dr. Montenegro and his staff in Sto. Nino clinic in Panorama City. I am a patient of his and I am intent on putting my trust in his expertise and superb care of his patients. He undoubtedly has trained his staff to perform at a congenial and professional level. Truly, a good doctor/boss like himself begets good subordinates. I point specifically to Aries, who helped me out in filling in my medications. He calls it courtesy refills, but I call it nobility. Hats off to you, Dr Montenegro for leading me into tip-top shape.
The attention and service here has definitely been in a decline in the last few months. Having to wait about 2hrs WITH an appointment is beyond ridiculous. The front staff literally never have any answers or provide any kind of help with the situation either. Literally every single walk-in gets seen and taken in before the people waiting in the lobby. They don't provide any updates in the meanwhile and if your even 5 minutes late they will not see you. The staff has no attention to detail whatsoever either. People need their time with their doctors but waiting around almost 2 whole hours is not a normal thing to be doing.
I've been at this place ever since I was very little, I remembered all the staff members and the way they treated everyone individually. The current doctor I saw was really nice he was very focused on what was going on with me during my physical check up. Again I haven't meant all these new staff members so i cant give a full opinion. But the desk nurses? Only one of them was very attentive to the people waiting. I was only coming to do a follow up appointment after my check up with the doctor and the lady who was attentive had a big line in front of her, so I went to the 2nd window. Let me tell you, I waited there for a good 7 minutes as she typed away not even acknowledging me. I had to speak up in order to get her attention. When I requested a copy of all of my paper work she got annoyed and asked another girl to do it. She assumed I only want one paper but I told her all of my personal papers that I, myself signed and she looked at me saying "so all of it?" Like yes all of it! The new desk ladies look young and a bit immature minus that one nice lady who helped a lot. I still come here because it's my childhood clinic but if it ends up like this without them getting proper training or giving actual customer service then I don't know, I just might find another doctor.
