The Doctors and P A’s that I have seen have been caring, if you can ever get to see them. Everything else is the worst I have ever experienced in my 70 years. Nobody calls you back. No body does what they say they will do and when you finally get thru to someone they just push you on to another department that doesn’t respond. As well as insurance mistakes. The most draining and frustrating experience ever in my life.
The young latina receptionist at baywell dentist is so rude and unprofessional. She is bad for the position. She doesn't have respect for the patients specifically for people with disabilities of hearing.
So frustrated with the way the Rx refill doctor, Dr. Robert Bell denies your request, but won’t make contact with you and/or at the very least read the medical chart. Why do patients have to wait until business hours to appear in person. Phones are never answered anymore. This is no longer feeling like the supportive environment for those of us seeking care beyond the traditional marginalized treatment. Baywell needs to do better! This is not what our community deserves.
I've been going to this clinic since I was a child, so I called them because I needed to see a doctor. I was told the earliest appointment isn’t until June. They told me to go to the emergency room instead. Mind you, this isn’t really an emergency, but I definitely need to be seen before June. I asked if they have urgent care, and they said no — the emergency room is my only option. The lack of care and concern in that phone call was painfully obvious. On top of that, when you leave a message, they never call you back. There was even one time I had an appointment, came back that Monday to pick up my prescription, and they acted like they had no record of me ever being there. They said I’d have to make another appointment. I’ve never seen such incompetence in the healthcare field in my life.
I used to love this place. My old doctor at the Watson center was amazing but unfortunately she passed away so I was sent back to the East Oakland health center. Everything was going well until they changed to Baywell. Since then the appointments are being pushed out three months. The medical assistants give you misinformation and nobody seems to know anything. It’s so unfortunate because I’ve been coming here for 20 years. Now I have to switch my providers. The community will be the one to ultimately suffer behind whatever merger or whoever bought it. Do better Baywell
