Once needed a medication for severe anxiety disorders and was told to not quit it cold turkey. they refused to fill the medication for 2 weeks after i was on it for about a year straight. had me going back and forth with the pharmacist and played the blame game. finally called a manager and they had the PCP fill it on the spot. auto immune disorders run in my family and i once had a dr who refused to give me an ANA test to check. went back and forth playing another blame game on who could assist me with logging into my chart after they switched systems so i could access me and my babyās information. had my babyās pediatrician say it was impossible that we got vaccines for my daughter because someone had failed to put them in her chart and they tried to give her double the vaccines due to it. caught an OBGYN giving pelvic exam without gloves, dismiss me that i wasnt apparently feeling the babyās hiccups while pregnant, and tried to say a finger in my freshly postpartum vagina ādidnāt hurtā and that it was ājust pressureā. had a nurse mispronounce my name and then ask why it was spelled in a way it wasnāt pronounced, then told me āthatās stupidā. not your business lady. also not my fault. for the longest time i had a pcp who was accusing me of being on drugs due to blood pressure and heart problems caused by my anxiety and was later diagnosed with sinus tachycardia. i could go on. every now and then you get a few good nurses or Drs but they donāt stay long. iām only here because i have to right now. some care is better than no care. but the very second iām able to switch clinics, i will. sorry to all the good nurses and drs and receptionists that work here and catch strays due to the people here that arenāt in the right profession.
Please do not go here if you need any medication on a continuing basis. The Pharmacy I have been going to for years cannot get any response for medication refills from them. The thing is they canāt blame my Pharmacy because the owner is a great friend of the family. The NPās will prescribe something then discontinue it with no rhyme or reason without even talking to you and no it is not a scheduled narcotic medication. I have yet to see a MD and have only seen in person a NP once. Everything is doctoring by phone. As a certified medical/hospital billing coder Iām really interested how they bill my 10 minute phone calls. I would give them a minus zero if I could. The only positive is that some of the referring specialists are good but not all.
First time patient at this organization. The lady in the front office was helpful and welcoming. The medical assistant was personable and spent time getting my history. I would give these ladies 5 stars! Janine the medical office manager did a good job trying to repair this horrible appointment. This review is to warn patients of Dr. Brenda Pelayo at this establishment. Call ahead of your appointment and ask to see anyone else. Dr Pelayo already had a chip on her should when she walked in the room. This doctor did not ask me why I was there, looked at me twice during the whole 5 minute appointment, starred at the computer during the exam. Did not sit down to talk to me, or even introduce herself. I had to ask the office manager if she was the doctorā¦.. If this is the representation of the organization, wow!!!!!!!! I question if the doctors in the community are helping its people. I sure wouldnāt want my family members going to her. In the end her assistant gave me a sheet for lab orders the doctor prescribed for me. And with my headaches she didnāt include a UTI panel for labs⦠what a waste of my time and money. A FIVE MINUTE EXAM!
This place has been such a disappointment and honestly very unprofessional. I frequently bring a relative here, and every visit seems to come with new issues. The doctor once accused us of lying, saying they never told us to stop a certain medication ā even though they absolutely did. They also keep referring us out to specialists because they ācanāt do anything for the patient.ā One diagnosis they gave was later dismissed by a specialist who said there were no signs of it at all, which really makes us question their accuracy and judgment. Weāve also had terrible scheduling and wait time experiences. On one visit, we waited over two hours, asking the front desk multiple times why my relative hadnāt been seen yet. Eventually, we found out the appointment was booked with someone who wasnāt even in the office that day. Most of the staff had gone to lunch, and only one nurse stepped up to help ā the others just said they didnāt āwork with that doctor.ā It was upsetting to see that kind of disregard for an elderly patient. The paperwork process has been just as bad. We dropped off time-sensitive forms and kept checking in, but all we ever heard was āIāll send a messageā or āthe person who handles that isnāt in.ā We were even told the papers were locked in a cabinet and ānot accessible.ā After three months, we finally got a call saying the paperwork was ready ā but then they refused to accept a family memberās signature, even though they knew the patient has physical limitations. It felt very inconsiderate and even discriminatory toward someone with disabilities. Whatās even more concerning is that I later learned that keeping patient paperwork for more than 14 days without processing it is against the law, and patients have the right to file a grievance in this situation. That makes this delay even more unacceptable. To make things worse, on one visit, several receptionists were loudly talking about workplace drama, complaining about supervisors and ātelling them where to go.ā It was completely unprofessional and uncomfortable to hear in a medical setting. Overall, this office is disorganized, unprofessional, and lacks compassion. Itās frustrating to deal with a place that shows so little care for patients, especially seniors or those with disabilities. I wouldnāt recommend this facility based on our experiences.
The worst experience of my life!!! I will never go back to this place! Jah Seh!!! Only two ppl helped provide exceptional service the front desk receptionist Olaf Avina and the Clinical Director Ms Jackeline Diaz, the two receptionist in the back are Failures and so is Doctor Ryan Goji!! Never go to this place!! I wanted to rate 0 stars āļø but I had to give Olaf Avina and Jackieline Diaz, the flowers šŗ šš»š¼š¹š·šŖ· two angels deserved!!!
