This clinic is extremely disappointing. I have been rescheduled multiple times since December of last year, and now well into this year, I am still being given excuse after excuse about the doctor not being available. While I understand that things can happen, the constant rescheduling with no clear or proper explanation is completely inconvenient and unprofessional. Because of this, I have not been able to complete my 2024 appointment at all. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone who values their time. I highly recommend everyone who has encounter any bad experiences, sanitation, wise, or with constant reschedules to report them to the California Department of Public Health.
They had canceled my appointment 3 times already, and they called me to tell me it was canceled again due to the staff person not being there, AGAIN. I was already outside the clinic ready to go in when I received the phone call. This clinic needs to do better.
I really want to warn vulnerable people out there and if I could give zero stars I would. I had my call violated talking to one front desk representative trying to schedule an appointment. Another representative unconsensually intercepted our call mid sentence without warning and said she overheard our conversation she then threatened me with CPS and authorities to come take my newborn child if I didn't come in for the appointment "she made" which was the very next day early in the morning. I told her I would call back to confirm with my husband's schedule as he works and was my only way of transportation. She insisted I take the insurance provided transportation. I told her I didn't want that because I also needed support with my 2 year old toddler who needs supervision, help with the heavy lifting of two car seats and stroller because I was fresh out the hospital from delivering my infant 2 days prior. I could barely walk, still bleeding from stitches and extremely sleep deprived from delivery. I understand the appointment was urgent, I just needed time to call back, so that I could confirm with my husband assistanace, not to neglect the health of my newborn infant! She had no patience, understanding, or compassion, I cried when I got off the phone. I was in such distressed I felt like fainting! My husband had no notice to update his job, which could put our whole family at risk! People need time to update their job to take off. We all know how maternity/paternal leave in our economy sucks. We were terrified that the police would take our child! This sort of treatment is the reason why women in America experience such high rates of postpartum depression and anxiety! Such a traumatic experience and I cry even thinking about it. I felt like I was talking with a devil her voice had so much hate. I can't believe they would hire someone so vile. This representative lady even checked in our appointment mid blood appointment to "make sure" we were at the appointment. Just opened the door, no knock, no informal introduction as my newborn screaming getting blood extracted from her foot, interrupting AGAIN, instantly I knew it was her from the sound of her evil voice, just talking over us to talk to the lady extracting blood to confirm our identity and attendance. Even the lady extracting blood was stunned. Hellish experience felt like a nightmare.
This clinic has extremely poor communication and unprofessional staff. Appointments are rescheduled or canceled with no notice, and no one calls to inform patients ahead of time. Clinic days are canceled without explanation, and calls are often not returned. One staff member was especially rude and disrespectful. She hung up on me during a conversation and even provided a fake name when I asked for her name. She continued to be rude and unprofessional through text messages, which the clinic allows staff to use to communicate with patients. Additionally, the front desk staff were openly speaking negatively about patients in the waiting area, which is completely inappropriate. Even though they assumed patients did not understand Spanish, I did, and what was said was unacceptable and in very poor taste. If you work in healthcare, professionalism, respect, and communication are essential. Unfortunately, this clinic fails in all of those areas. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone seeking respectful or reliable care.
Been coming here since 2010. It's gotten a lot better. At the front desk there's a worker by the name of Delia. Although I was 20 minutes late She was very 😇 understanding. She goes beyond the regular person that just checks people in on a daily basis. She was very friendly & professional . She just overall made my day better. She was able to schedule me in a phone apt. All worked out well. Also I want to give a shout out to Jesus who schedules new apts. He also was friendly,polite & very professional. Thanks to Y'all's Awemostis new employees 👏👏.That makes a difference. The people feel more welcome at ease & not just overall pushed through like cattle. 📖➕🕊
