Some of the medical providers are really good, others frightfully incompetent. I had a rash of my leg, the doctor looked at, shrugged his shoulders. Didn't have anything to say other than I don't know. I started moisturing my legs at the suggestion of a friend and the rash disappeared. My PCP is great but his office, the admin, and I guess their referral department are non-communicative in the literal sense. I was promised a referral to a cardiologist and after three weeks and four phone calls, I don't have one and no one has even bothered to return my calls. I had given up on the Adventist clinic for the same reasons and am now giving up on this lot. I found a Sutter PCP in Healdsburg. Sutter is a well-oiled machine. I recommend it to anyone distressed about the lack of care on the Mendocino Coast.

I just had the best experience of my life in having a tooth filled- and believe me, I have had many! Dr. Lee and her assistant ( I didn’t get her name) were an unbeatable team. Dr. Lee has small, gentle, efficient hands and a lovely chairside manner. 5 stars

Why doesn't the clinic make reminder calls ANYMORE?? Dr. Kim doesn't know jack about Dentistry. I went in to see him he said I had an abscess a year and a half ago. The tooth needs a crown. It's not my choice to go to the Mendocino Coast clinic. As far as I know once you have poor medical insurance you are screwed

Poor patient support services from dental clinic, I showed up for my appointment the dentist left there office last minute they did not call to inform me (January 2025) Dr chopalowski ? Then they refused to put me back on the books for a new dentist gave me the run around for 3 weeks and when I did get them to put me back on the books they rescheduled me at the end of the new dentists patients April/may .. I have explained that I am experiencing tooth pain and need my molar repaired every single time I call . I have also been calling every Friday to get same day opening or sooner appointment nothing is done... I had an appointment made for an opening 3/7 and I was running late it was an unforseen situation at work I had to stay late I was 15 minutes late for my appointment could not be seen, they sent me a letter in the mail saying I'm on suspension cause I missed an appt back in (october 2024) and the one (March 7th 2025) . I tried calling them several times to talk to reception at dental no answer went to voicemail. Trying to explain the situation prior to the appointment March 7th. I have left messages for the dental supervisor to call me 2 days in a row now , to discuss appealing my suspension I have severe cavities in my mouth and they cancelled my 2 appointments for April/may! I feel like they have horrible patient care and communication. I know they are not at fault for the old dentist leaving but they need to re consider the way they treat patients and give them fair opportunity to get the care they need in such a rural area with no other options available! I just wanted to make a special review for Dr Kim ~ He is a Dentist at the Mendocino Coast Clinic. I told him I wanted do something that lets the world know that he is appreciated and shortly after I had gotten so busy with life that I had forgotten over and over until now to sit down and write this. Dr Kim is a Master at his craft ~ I told him while observing him working on my sons teeth how much I am grateful from my heart for his true honor and love and respect he seems to give to each individual patient. Even though he is one of the only Dentists in the office and has patients lined up to see him; He patiently worked on my son and made *Certain* With Love - The job was done properly. I explained to him that I am a Master Healer and Teacher and I honor the work that he does and how he treats each individual patient and his assistant explained to me that that is how he teaches her to be and the others in the office; She said “He tells us to treat every single one of them as if they are your son or your mother or your grandfather because it could be them one day and how would you want them to be treated.” I give Honor where Honor is due. Dr Kim is of excellence. I highly recommend. ✨
