Professional, courteous, Forthright. Only had my first appointment and was treated better than I have in many years. Other facilities could learn from them. Thank you BVHC.
Front office attendant Yohara or a similar name refused me help and was very rude when I asked if there was accomidations for people who cant drive. I just had a knee surgery and was doing visits to dr every 6 ish weeks when my help had to leave town. I call to see if i can get these visits distanced farther apart like 2 months or 3 months because I cant drive at the moment. "Yohara" claimed I cant distance dr visits at all, nor can they help me at all if I cant drive. Not to mention before i even mentioned not being able to drive, seconds into the phone call she tried sending me to the fall river office to avoid helping entirely.
Went in to see nurse practioner. I showed her my bicep, which after having had human biology, I knew was no longer attached to the tendon at the elbow. She thought it would heal in 4 weeks. I came back in 2 weeks due to her warning my bicep would atrophy after 4 weeks. Long story short I was referred to orthopedic surgeon, but not given any priority. I had to wait an additional 2 and a half months to be seen by surgeon who told me there was nothing that could be done for my arm. I tell them now that I will only see a md, but a nurse at Fall River hospital she would trust nurse practioners with her life. I trusted them with my arm, won’t trust them with my life. The Bieber clinic refused to allow me to make a complaint about this. Beware who you trust with medical emergencies.
We were looking for decent health care. This was our first visit to the health center. The staff is really friendly. It seems the clinic will be a good match for us.
The Dorris facility has achieved the lowest rating that it will allow me to give . I do NOT recommend the care provided by the nurse practitioner . This place is a prescription mill , not a health care facility . My Hippa rights have been violated numerous times as per my attorney . I once spoke to an actual physician from main office , kind , considerate and truly caring , but since then you get corporate people who will horrify you in their reluctance to take care of your concerns . It's too bad ,MVHC used to be a caregiver I highly recommended .
