I've tried over a week and made 5 phone calls to get a simple refill on my Gerd medication!! Ridiculous! I switched my PCP here and Dr Riklon seems very good, but I don't understand the hold up on getting my medication! My previous PCP had prescribed it. It's the ONLY medication I'm on and been on it for around a year. My heartburn becomes SO severe that it often feels like I'm having a heart attack! N I've been told 5 times now that the doctor needs to approve, cool... why's it taken over a week??! He went over my medication during my initial visit, asked if I wanted to stay on it. I told him yes. So one would assume this wouldn't be such an ordeal! I don't know if it's him or his nurse! This really gives me zero confidence in them handling anything SERIOUS! Because thankfully this wasn't a medication I would die without!
In and out within an hour, despite running late. Very polite staff and smooth service. I will definitely be back. Edit: I will definitely NOT be back! I just got a $170 bill for walking in, having a bandage changed, then sent on my way for an antibiotic that costed less than $10 with insurance. I was never given any indication, even after specifically asking, that I would be charged, let alone THIS much! Not a low income friendly place like I thought it would be.
My husband and I used to see J. Preston. She left in July/August and we still can't get our medications. It's now the end of November. This facility thinks it's ok to let patients go off of their depression medication. They aren't even narcotics. My husband went in for his appointment so he could get his refilled with Maurice Jones and he shows up and they tell him the dr cancelled his appointment because of a meeting. They never once called. He took off work for this appointment and showed up. Springdale is wasting every one's time and they think it's safe for people to go off their meds. They refuse to transfer to Fayetteville. We are at a loss.
Staff was very nice and helpful with all questions. Dr. Kathy Mayhew was was nice and welcoming. Good customer experience on my first visit to the clinic!
