I had to cancel my therapy appointment early December because I wasn’t able to get off work. I had a family member die and found a tumor in my stomach so rescheduling this wasn’t top of my list on top of the holidays. I reached out less then 6 weeks after my cancelled appointment and they let me know they dropped me and I would have to do intake again soonest appointment for my only available day was over 3 months out. Soonest appointment any day was 2 months out. They can make you wait 2 months plus then force you to have to do intake with a different doctor and have to rehash all your trauma but god forbid you have a death in the family and scary medical news that causes you to wait to reschedule 5 weeks, they drop you no problem. Couldn’t get a straight answer from the women I spoke with on how long exactly before they drop you. She kept saying they haven’t heard from me since November. Not sure how that’s possible when I cancelled my appointment in December…Don’t waste your time. Find a place that cares.
On hold right now. This is my 4th time calling to get prescription refilled. Talked to 4 different people and no one seems to know how to get in touch with the nurse practioner. They say they will call u back in 24 hrs after u leave a message. Whole system is messed up. I regret choosing cigna.
Most of the 1 star reviews are true! * you have to be on people to do their job * was told I couldn't send my own medical records to metlife even with a disclosure, and when metlife requested my medical records on August 14th they still haven't sent them and its October 1st. *they charged the wrong insurance so now im responsible for $270 just for a phone call with their nurse practitioner , no meds or any recommendations just a check up. *And when I called billing back in june they still have not gotten back to me. So when they say they will call you back they don't. Im looking into leaving and going somewhere else that actually works and cares for their patients.
This is my second visit and I'm already thinking I should find another provider. Their offices are clean and the staff are nice but they seem to all be new, or improperly trained, the way that they have to ask each other in order to answer questions doesn't make much sense. They don't really have good directional information in the lobby either. I checked in at the kiosk for my second visit and I was there for almost an hour without being called, so, after having the kiosk tell me that I was checked in...I wasn't. Then I had to wait on standby which obviously would be an irritation. So far I can honestly say I could take it or leave it.
Hopefully you have deep pockets, no allergies and no actual mental health issues, otherwise you’re screwed. They don’t care about you. They won’t help you. But they will: *Submit a claim to your insurance, find out the contracted rate and then grossly over charge you. (They owe me over $200 for only 2 appointments). *Prescribe medication you are allergic to. *Prescribe a medication that costs over $1,000 out of pocket. *Claim they sent in a prescription for you, but you have to call around to different pharmacies to track it down and learn they just flat out didn’t call it in and now you’re going into a 3 day weekend with zero medication. *Make you chase after them to get them to do their jobs. *Put you on bipolar medication when you’re not bipolar, because they are out of ideas, due to allergies, (after 1 appointment). *Give vague answers when you ask for your diagnoses. It is hard enough to reach out and get help for yourself and these jackals made it impossible. Don’t waste your time and energy here. Go someplace else. You’re essentially paying an arm and a leg for someone to blindly write a prescription for you.
