Based on my personal experience, the customer service lacked professionalism, communication was inconsistent, and concerns were not handled in a timely or supportive manner. The overall experience did not meet reasonable expectations for patient care and service.
Patient Experience for Transparency I’m posting this review to document our family’s experience and to provide transparency for other patients considering care here. We contacted the organization’s official reporting channel (EthicsPoint) to raise concerns about the quality of care and the lack of support we were experiencing. After submitting the report, we received a follow-up call from the Office of Patient Experience. Unfortunately, that interaction did not resolve our concerns. The conversation felt dismissive and lacked the level of empathy and professionalism we expected from a department specifically intended to support patients. We did not feel heard, and no clear solutions or next steps were provided. In the past, we have followed appropriate channels, including contacting the medical board regarding concerns, so we are familiar with formal complaint processes. Based on our experience here, the way patient concerns were handled raised serious concerns for our family. Shortly after these issues were raised, our family received a written notice of discontinuation of care. The notice stated that the care relationship had experienced a “breakdown,” but it did not include specific details explaining what occurred. Given the medical needs involved, clearer communication would have been appropriate and helpful. Additionally, a scheduled three-month diabetic follow-up appointment was canceled. As an insulin-dependent patient, continuity of care is critical, and this cancellation was distressing for our family. This review reflects our personal experience and is shared so others can make informed decisions. Patients should be able to raise concerns and ask questions without feeling discouraged, and patient-experience departments should help de-escalate situations rather than add to patient stress. We hope improvements are made in communication, staff training, and how patient concerns are addressed moving forward.
I will be contacting the state medical board in regards to the advertisement of services on your website that you don’t actually provide. In fact, you send patients to a 3rd party that doesn’t take the same insurance. This might even warrant a call to a lawyer.
Ive called in 5 separate times on a Monday and a Tuesday and never got the chance to talk to anyone to schedule an appointment. What kind of doctors office doesn’t even pick up the phone? If you’re that indifferent or that understaffed then I don’t want to be a patient Hold times were longer than ten minutes each time.
Was a patient here for several years. Doctors continually ignored my pain and did not listen to my concerns. They then gave me the wrong information following an ultrasound. Went to another healthcare provider and ended up needing surgery. If you want a doctor to actually listen to you and help you feel better go ANYWHERE else.
