I do not typically leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. In order to continue receiving my prescribed medication (sertraline), I am required to meet periodically with a medical provider. I was assigned to a provider at Canyonlands Behavioral Health, and unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing. My most recent appointment was conducted via telehealth. I have consistently experienced technical difficulties with their telehealth platform, which added stress to an already vulnerable situation. When the appointment began, the provider appeared in very casual attire that did not convey professionalism. While appearance alone is not my primary concern, it contributed to the overall impression of a lack of care and seriousness. The appointment itself lasted approximately seven minutes. After asking a few routine baseline questions, I attempted to explain that I had been struggling significantly with my mental health. Rather than receiving thoughtful follow-up questions or meaningful discussion, I was simply asked whether I wanted to increase my dosage. When I expressed that this was not what I was seeking, the only additional suggestion offered was that I “try going outside.” There was no further exploration of my concerns, no discussion of coping strategies, and no attempt to better understand what I was experiencing. I left the appointment feeling unheard and dismissed. The interaction felt rushed and transactional rather than supportive or therapeutic. Ultimately, I made the difficult decision to begin tapering off my medication so that I would no longer be required to attend appointments that felt unhelpful and impersonal. Discontinuing antidepressant medication is not an easy process, and it should never feel preferable to receiving care. What compounded this experience was receiving a bill for $464 for a seven-minute telehealth visit. Being charged that amount for such limited engagement felt disproportionate and extremely disheartening. I understand that the healthcare system has its challenges, and I do not expect perfection. However, I do expect to feel heard, respected, and supported — especially when seeking care for mental health. Unfortunately, this was the most discouraging experience I have had with a medical provider. I hope this feedback encourages greater attention to patient care, professionalism, and meaningful engagement in future appointments.
I was seeing doctor Gonzales and really liked her. Every time I tryed to schedule a aptment with here it was always a month or more out so I started going to st gourge. I scheduled a aptment with them over a month and a half ago because that was the soonest opening they had. I went in for the aptment and they had nothing on the schedule for me. I will never go back this place is a joke. Go to flagstaff or st gourge you will be way better off.
I had an accident while boating at Lake Powell and went to the canyonlands healthcare InstaCare. Dr. Chris Hansen was excellent. My thumb required about 40 stitches. He did an outstanding job and was very skilled and empathetic. I was very grateful for his skill and service.
Had a very nice experience. We went Page in December 2021 to visit antelope canyon and my 3 year old daughter got high fever, we took her to urgent care Dr. Hayley Klotz checked her, they diagnosed her well and arranged the antibiotics for her as all the pharmacies were closed at that time. I am so thankful to Dr Hayley for being so polite and everyone we met that day in Canyonland Healthcare.
While I enjoyed Dr Gilbert, her assistant held no empathy and displayed extremely poor customer service. The receptionists were warm and welcoming but the overall experience let me wanting. I now drive to Flagstaff for pre-natal care. Keeping in mind, I have not been back to this establishment for almost one year.
