I called Frys for a refill I was told they did Not have a refill for that medication, so I called the pharmacy refill nurse who hung up on me. The call can be listened to, but I never yelled or said anything I just wanted to figure this out. I have been a nurse all my Adult life, and have never spoke to a patient like that. I would find a new clinic if I had 6 months w/o care to spare. I feel I have no one to speak to about this.
Very, very, very poor service of care the worst I have ever dealt with, and my daughter is a Director at a Memory care unit and I have experience with medical facilities. I had an appointment with Austin Miller a few weeks ago now. We have discussed some medications for me and a game plan. I had to call several times to follow up if medication has been sent in, and if the prior authorization has been completed for another medication. TODAY 11/18/2025 I called again to follow up again the nurse advised that Austin miller still has NOT called in my medication, and waiting for records from previous doctor for pre authorization. I advised I am getting extremely frustrated YOU KNOW THE RESONSE I GOT: and I quote “ well I sent him ( Austin miller ) a message the last time you called, he has about 100 MESSAGES TO STILL GO THROUGH!!!! I am in pain and frustrated I feel like crying. Do Not come here if you actually want help. I would have given a negative -100 if I had the option this place is a lawsuit waiting to happen
My wife saw the Dr on 6/5 after hurting her foot while hiking. She had it X-rayed on 6/6. The Dr posted her results(fracture) in the portal on 6/11. My wife called the office on 6/12 and left a voicemail. After not getting any response, she emailed the office on 6/19. She finally got a call back with the results and a referral to a specialist on 6/23. 12 days passed after the Dr had the results and before the office contacted us. THAT is very poor service.
I work in Tucson and took time off to make my appointment this afternoon. Due to an accident on Grant Rd I was running late. I called ahead to let the office know and the person I spoke to said ok. I literally drove as fast as I can the 40 MILES to their office only to be turned away because of THREE MINUTES. I explained that I called ahead and I took time off work to make it. The receptionist went back and whispered to someone in the back after she took my ID and insurance card and then refused to see me. I’ve had horrible experiences with this office a multitude of times but there are no other docs in Green Valley so I’ felt stuck with these idiots. Not any more. I can’t believe they would treat a patient like that after an honest reason for being 10 minutes late. Don’t respond to his review with your typical “call our patient advocate” line because you know damn well no one cares. Go anywhere else but this office
My experience with UCHC so far has been a vast improvement over the service we were previously receiving in our area. Dr. Mahelik (sp?) is amazing. Grateful for her insight, gentle manner, and expertise. Dr. Holden was likewise very helpful and knowledgeable. Although I no longer see her, she was very nice and professional the whole time, every time. Dr. Carey- he has been great in helping us care for our SOS. Only thing: currently out of meds needed for our SOS, scheduled the appointment off by a few days. Does the front office check that? Not sure how that happened but hard to keep levels up on meds when appointments are off. Going to make sure it doesn’t happen again. Still happy with our service and glad to have made the switch to this clinic in January.
