Caring, compassionate, and competent are words that describe the team at Seward Community Health Services. My wife and I were on a three week trip to Alaska, when we both came down with Covid while staying in Seward in July, 2024. We could not connect with our own health care providers in Washington State, so we decided to call a local clinic. Matthew at the front desk told us to come right over, and was so professional and caring as he took our intake information. Dr. Jeanette Nienaber was exceptional, showing genuine interest and compassion like she would for a long time patient rather than treating us like the first time visitors we were, and prescribing antiviral medication and recommendations for our recovery. Nurse Lindsey and Karen in Medical Records were most helpful when I contacted them later for assistance with our medical records and other supporting documentation that was needed for our travel insurance claim. We were very impressed with the care and service provided! Thank you!!

I give them no stars and a zero for care Doctor laughed in my face and proceeded to tell me there "no magical cough medicine" There's way more to that story but he was insulting. My kid couldn't breathe. Health care in alaska is def lacking

I came to the Health Center because I had tested positive for Covid. The people here offered help with insurance, offered WiFi so I could call my insurance people and even gave me a warm room to sit in while I figured it all out. I felt so well taken care of and treated with much kindness as well as competence. Thanks so much, Seward Health Care Center. That is 5 star performance.
