I've been a patient there for a little more than a year and I've been completely invisible. I go at the same time as my husband to save money on gas, as we travel 45 minutes to get there. They don't take my copay, but take my husband's. I'm the one who pays. I have heart conditions and they give him the EKG. They keep sending me a bill because they forget to get my copay when they take his copay off my card! I owe for three visits. It's ridiculous to think that anything I say to them is ignored. I'm afraid I'm going to die of a heart attack before I get proper medical Care. I have the nurse practitioner she never returns phone calls. She never calls in my medicine my blood pressure was 200 over 122 and she just increases my medicine. I think she's high. I'm going to find a new doctor
I had a horrible experience with David Runyon. He’s known me for years and treated me like he had never met me. I have never been treated like this from a doctor ever. The dude needs to either retire or find another career. His bedside manner sucks to high heaven. He is the most inconsiderate and rudest doctor I have ever seen!
We feel so disappointed with the care SARHA of Troy offers, we were basically denied of the care they offer. I have been a patient here before and so have my parents, and the providers are excellent. but the people at the desk especially Mia, and the other lady that spoke to me on the phone, please do better! I called earlier today regarding a possible physical exam/labs for my mom needing them her residency documentation. Mind you she has been a patient and been seen here previously. I asked if they did lab work and was told that they DO NOT do that here, that I would have to go to the hospital to get basic lab work done. I then call the SARHA location in Slocomb and Ms. Debbie told me otherwise. She even tried explaining that they possibly misunderstood because in ALL of the SARHA locations they can do blood draws, even x-rays since lab corp comes to every location of theirs. I asked about the assistance program they offered since my mom doesn’t have health insurance Ms Debbie on the phone told me about the documentation required and she told me I could take it to any SARHA and that I could to the Troy location since it would be closer to me and to ask for Mia since she could possibly assist my mom with Spanish. We drive here and Mia told my mom they couldn’t take her paperwork because they do not do the financial assistance paperwork here and if my mom wanted to be seen she would have to pay the $135. That my mom should have gone to the Slocomb location if she wanted to apply for the assistance program, because they are different locations, that SARHA in Troy are not the same as SARHA in Slocomb. Yet they have the same name, SARHA? I was given a card a couple days ago with the number for Tammy Williamson that helps with the assistance paperwork and the number was for the Troy location, so I’m confused? It’s a shame this clinic specifically, cannot offer help when needed, I am a nurse myself and it ills me to see how my mom was treated. People that literally go into nursing and healthcare overall and treat people this way, should be a shamed of themselves. We are suppose to help people, is that not who you are? It states it on your website. “SARHA is committed to providing medical services (Laboratory Services, X-Rays, Physical Exams, etc. as listed on your website.) to ALL PATIENTS, including those with private insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, as well as those uninsured and under-insured. SARHA is a deemed federal Public Health Service organization with financial assistance/sliding fee scale programs available for all who qualify.” If this isn’t right please update your website. We were thankfully able to get help from the SARHA in Slocomb. They told my mom this is not the first time this has happened. That there has been many complaints and reports with this SARHA in Troy. Please DO BETTER.
The receptionist for Dr. Bish are extremely rude and lazy. I've called and left multiple voice mails asking when my appointment was and what I need to bring. Of course I missed my appointment because nobody answers or calls back and now since I'm a no show I can't reschedule or make a new appointment. Unreliable
After taking my 2 year old to the Urgent care before the doctor walked in the room he said he didn’t even see the rash. Me confused cause you haven’t even made it through the door yet. So I proceeded to point it out to him. Not once did he look at her he was looking me dead in my eyes and said I don’t see it just give Benadryl and you can go. I was charged a copay and my insurance just for them to tell me he don’t see anything and I can go. If you can help it I wouldn’t recommend going. I was going to contact their family doctor for myself but I’ll just find some where else. They’ll never get my service again.
