My daughter was ordered by court to this hell hole. And it is the most rididlious excuse for a rehab. It needs to be shut down.They do nothing but treat their clients like trash . Funny with all of them being recovering drug addicts themselves. How quick people are to forget where they came from.My daughter was taken for a doctors appointment where she was left 3 hours after the doctor had closed to stand outside by her self where she was almost snatched into a car by 2 men. And also approached by a man trying to push drugs on her. They had forgotten my daughter. How professional is that. What a joke this place is. They tore my daughter down by constantly putting her down. Lying about her failing drug test but when she stood up to them and demanded retakes of the test and blood test done . They all of sudden said she passed. They also was allowing males that worked in the kitchen to say unappropiate things to her. This place is also very racist against their white clients and treat them differently This place should be investigated and thats without warning them they are coming. State did come in when she was there and she was punished for talking and being honest with state as well. Please dont send anyone you love to this despicable place. She was located at the Birmingham Al facility.

I was supposed to graduate on 3-13-2025 and I told the staff about the kitchen lady crushing up pills in 6 of the clients food because she didn’t like them or they stopped working in the kitchen and she was also buying food stamps from clients I worked in the kitchen for 2 months and I witnessed her doing this with my own eyes so as a result in me telling the staff about this situation the didn’t let me graduate and the kicked me out on yesterday which was 3-14-2025 for no reason at all. They are not there to help anyone except for certain staff members and about one case manager and two therapist the place is set up for failure once they get the money for you arriving there then the find a way to try to put you out please I beg you never to send anyone to the alethia house at 135 Finley in Birmingham

Staff is horrible and will not tell the truth if they feel their job is at stake. My pregnant wife has been treated with so much disrespect. The director even called her minutes before going into labor to tell her she was gonna be kicked out of the program for leaving the facility even though her leaving was approved by the staff! The employee literally helped her load carseat, diaper bag, etc into the car ! It was so out of line that the hospital staff contacted their case worker and had her contact the director about it. The director then lied and said she never called my wife! The hospital staff were witnesses to her call so they knew she was lying. Would not recommend this place to anyone until ms kiya or whatever her name is is fired .

My review is for the Montgomery facility. I do not recommend this facility. There's some nice people there but there's also some really evil people there who look down on anyone they service because they're an addict who take joy in denying your prescriptions or your doctor visits knowing you're going to be sick. It happened to me more times than I can count and I'm really thankful that I'm done with them. I highly recommend the breakthrough wellness! If you're working and you can afford to pay for your medication then break through wellness and their doctor is the way to go. They don't treat you like your trash just because you're an addict. The people there care about you and your recovery. I promise you that alethia house will drive you to a relapse!

Tested positive for methamphetamines the first day upon arrival coming straight from jail. I asked to retake the test and was refused. I knew I was clean. Was discharged 3 weeks later for testing positive for subutex which was prescribed by the MAT DR. The therapist explained to me alethia house doesn’t have a MAT PROGRAM!!!??? Not sure why they wanted me gone but sure got rid of me. Very upset but I just have to think it was God not wanting me to be there. Good luck if you plan to be here. Make sure you don’t take subutex at all!! I wouldn’t give them the one star out of five but it requires at least one star to post a review. SO 0 NOTTA OUT OF 5!!
