Almost free Healthcare. Recommend if you are low/no income like me, not qualified for medicaid, medicare, and don't qualify for discount thru Gov Healthcare Marketplace. They do take some insurance. No insured, a Visit, out of pocket sliding scale = lowest is $35 per issue/per visit. They have a General Practitioner for basic checkups and minor issues, however there's no specialty care, but they can give a referral, but might not be low cost if out of pocket. Psychiatric/mental illness care with medicine prescribed(no controlled substances). GREAT, CHEAP PHARMACY for medicine their Docs prescribe(not for medicine prescribed elsewhere) 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Practitioner Demechiko French, who is located at the ARMS Metro Health Center, is very unprofessional and unreliable. My two daughters had been referred to him by staff at the Northern Health Center. When I took my first daughter for her 7:30 a.m. appointment, the receptionist said that Dr. French was there earlier but that he had left because his wife called him. My daughter was not notified. When I took my second daughter for her 11:00 a.m. appointment months later, the receptionist said that Dr. French was not there. Once again, my daughter was not notified in advance. Lastly, when my first daughter finally sat down with Dr. French, he told her within the first few minutes that nothing was wrong with her. My daughter had to beg Dr. French to give her more time to speak. He later changed his assessment. If Dr. French treated my daughters, who have mental health issues, like this - not showing up for appointments and dismissing their concerns - then who else has he done this to, and for how long has he been mistreating patients?
Went there to apply for SRO program, wasn't allowed to see Anyone or obtain any information on said program. Seen receptionist, she tells me that they're not able to help. Come back in June, really? If the staff weren't seeing others, why couldn't they at least speak to me, give me so information instead of a cold shoulder. Senior citizen security guard, more concerned than the staff inside. Don't waste your time going here for housing assistance, just as long as you're like the staff demographic, you'll be fine.
